More than Just a Video Game

While playing some of my favorite games like "Tales of the Abyss" , "Kingdom Hearts" or "Disgaea 3 " , I was wondering why anyone of this RPG games weren't available here on Mexico, and if available, why weren't they dubbed or at least subtitled on Spanish ?

Mexican video game popularity have always been games played for the X-box and Nintendo and some types of popular games are ranked top on Mexican Teen Popularity are 5 :

- Shooting Games- like Halo or (has spanish dubbing)

-Sports Games, like Fifas game(has spanish dubbing)

-Car games, Grand Theft Auto? ( I dont know a popular one)

-Fighting Games, like Soul Calibur or Street Fighter

-Marios, all Mario games

But, what about my favorite types of video games? The "Rpg's" or Strategic games?, This games usually have a lot of story into it and you usually need a lot of thinking in order to pass this types of games. It really makes me mad that my favorite types of games aren't sold here in Mexico and if they are sold, they really are hard to find or don't have Spanish dub or at least subtitles, they are ALL IN ENGLISH AND SOLD IN USA.

There are 2 reasons why this happens:

1- The people who makes RPGames (which are usually Japanese enterprises), think that since we are a 3rd world type country, we are stupid. Which I may think its true since the popularity about this types of games is not so much. (whoa, who could believe that selling or not selling video games would tell about how much outsiders think of us, Mexicans?)

2- There is not people who are willing to translate this games. This games have a lot of story into it, in fact the 55% of the game are only WORDS, this type of book game requires a lot of translation, many companies don't feel like they should spend so much money on translating it, so they just sell their product withtout translation knowing that only "intelligent" people will play it, anyways, only smart people play tactic games.

This really made me think that I was lucky to know English and being able to purchase my favorite games on USA easily with just a 5 hour drive from my house, but what about the Latin Americans who like this types of games and aren't able to purchase them? There is only one answer: Pirates!

Yeah! Latin American people like to purchase Japanese games, create a system to play them on computers and then translate it, all this done by Latin American hackers and people who are working for free and give their job to the society FOR FREE.

This fact really amazes me because the fact is, we just beated the highly technological Japanese game creators on programming for just our selfish desire to play a game. So then, Latin America isn't that stupid huh? Can't you see it?

We Mexicans have just hacked a highly advance Japanese program in order to play it on the PC for free.

I just want to say that Mexico shouldn't be taken as a 3rd world country, if we are intelligent enough to hack a Japanese program then, it means that we really are something. We just need to stop being lazy and create our own future.
