Lack of Coherence

This post is not to express if I agree or not with gay marriage, it’s more to give my opinion of what I’ve heard of it. Even we live in the XXI century, in a society which demands for freedom of expression and for respect, we don’t agree with it. It’s kind of incoherent. I’ve heard things like “I don’t have anything against gays, but they can’t get married, it’s just wrong”; “they can get married, but they can’t adopt kids, they will suffer a lot”; “I hate gays, they shouldn’t exist. I admit it, I’m homophobic”; “gays can get married, but they shouldn’t get out together to public places. It is just disgusting”.

Most of what I’ve heard doesn’t make a lot of sense. People demand for some things, and when they actually get them, they get upset because it didn’t worked exactly how they wanted to.

The gay marriage is something really new for a lot of us. It can be hard to assimilate but we need to be coherent with what we say. Sometimes it’s just better not to give our opinion about something because later on, we can regret. As long as we don’t affected by the gay marriage, we have no right to discriminate or to make gays feel bad about it.

This is a very controversial topic, but we need to focus on more important things that are damaging society.

Gay Family?

Lately we have heard in the radio, television, news and almost everywere about gay marriages. In some parts it its allowed and in other ones it is illegal. I don´t think it has something wrong, in fact I am happy for them, because that way they live like a regular couple and between the 2 of them they will be able to get higher credits that they can use to buy a house, or new car.

But then there´s this new issue, should they be able to adopt a child? many persons probably think they shouldn´t, because they are afraid that they are going to abuse the child, or because thats wrong simply by saying a family should be conformed by a mother and a father; but then I think, whats with the single parent family? shouldn´t the that be not good either just because there is no mom or dad; and the kids that grow surrounded by only women or men? isn´t that kind of like the same, beeing race by a single sex (men or women). I think that there is nothing wrong with that and if you think about I bet that an orphan child would prefer to live with a gay marriage than in any institution. I made a little research and according to psycologists those children aren´t going to develop any psicological problems just by having a gay family.

I think its a good idea, maybe that way more kids would be adopted, after all no family is perfect.

Gay marriage

In recent years, the debate over same-sex marriage has grown from an issue that occasionally arose in a few states to a nationwide controversy. Indeed, in the last five years, the debate over gay marriage has been heard in the halls of the U.S. Congress, at the White House, in dozens of state legislatures and courtrooms, and in the rhetoric of election campaigns at both the national and state levels. Moreover, the battle over whether gays and lesbians should be allowed to wed shows no signs of abating. In the last year alone, three states have banned same-sex marriage and four states have legalized the practice. As the debate rages on, the American religious community remains deeply divided over the issue.



Gay marrige, same sex relationships are a very debated and with a lot of arguments that now a days is very controversial. In a way, people say that they have the liberty to marry whomever they want and in the other hand is the religious and ethics that have separate the world in the ones who are liberal and the conservadors. I think that people are free from living whomever they want and marry also but just until the point that they do not demostrate it a lot on public.

Gay marriage

This is a polemic topic. Moreover, many persons have different criteria about this. Freedom of choice, rights, and development of society. Every country has its own opinion about this event that is wrapping the whole world.
This gay marriage event is okay in the aspect about the ones right, freedom of choice and so on. The Catholic Church is getting involved with the preposition of stopping this marriage that goes against its religion. But, what about the other religions? Do they think the same?
People that get married (gays) may think about their religions preferences, but they have the right to choose who they want to be with and built a relationship.
Now, getting married and forming a family is okay, but, what about adopting kids? Are they conscious about how the kid can have social problems about having parents from the same sex? Gays have to think about this aspect because they can seriously have problems if they adopt a kid and maybe the kid understands and accepts their parents’ reality, but the social pressure can sometimes be mean.
Society has to understand this event that is now globalizing the world, because this is just another challenge of us.
We have to remember that since long time ago, gays have always existed but haven’t decided to do more for their existence. Now a day, this has commenced.
