Homosexuality has become a theme of dicussion lately, mostly because lately there have been a lot of people that have confesed that they are gay, but the matter here is the way society is dealing with this matter, we might ask ourselves whether if it is correct or incorrect, but honestly there's no correct answer.

About if it should be permitted for them to be togheter in public I really think that it is disgusting, but there it is alsoo antoher point, everyone should be allowed to be togheter I mean people that love each other shouls be allowed to show their love (even though we all know that there are places for each thing).

And about the marriage thing, I think that it is maybe okay, even though it might be seen as something incorrect, but thinking it through if they love each other so much it shouldn't be so important for them to be married, and in the other side we might argue that it is something that it is simpluy not normal not natural.

And the other issue that exists is: should they be allowed to have kids? I think that it'll be fair for them, but in the society in which we live it is like an aberration and it'll be a traumatizing expirience fot the kids because when we are little we are really cruel we don't meassure our own words nor actions we don't know how much we might hurt those little kids that don't have any guilt.

And as a catholic, I really think that's a sins, because that is not natural if god would've wanted things to be that way he wouldn't have given us the example of Adan and Eva he would've given us that example plus one that included one of two Evas and two Adans.

Euthanasia

EUTHANASIA

Euthanasia as we almos all know is when someone wants or needs to end with her/his life, it had been also definied as the "assisted suicide".

And it also has been one of the most controversial subjects in our society, it had been a subject if discussion, as many of this kind of subjects it has it's pros and cons.

I am totally positive about euthanasia because, it is fair is certain situations, for intance, if me myself was in a hard situation like a friend of my mom he had a wife he had a son but his son passed away and so his wife five years after his wife, and know he had been diagnosed with cancer, they've given him like 2 or 3 months in this situation I really think it will be totally acceptable for him to ask for euthanasia and this to be given to him.

In the other hand, it might be considered as a murder, and maybe people around the sick one may think is cruel because there it is always a chance that s/he would live, and the relatives that agree with that person that they let s/he take her/his life, so I will say that it is a really tough decision.

Abortion

This is one of the most common discussions now a days, and I have thought a lot of this subject, because in my opinion is a very delicate subject it has A LOT of cons and A LOT of pros, and me myself I have thought about both of the sides of this terrible act, but I think that it is something that it is no one's call but the mother, I'm not saying that just because you got pregnant you have the right to decide for another human being life.

For me the good thing that this act has or why it should be more accepted is because if a women at least consider this as an option well, I think that it will be better to let her do it because, if a mother to be even think about the possibility of murdering her own children is because obviuosly she doesn't want it, and if the baby is born it will be an unloved baby, and well why to be people to this world to be miserable and mistreated, and well just to increase the overpopulation.

And in the other hand it is really bad because is your children and you are not like meant to hate what you created it must be a gift, (it really depends on each person situation) and I think as a catholic that it is a sin as suicide because if God decided that you are meant to have a baby who are you decide not to, just because you don't want it you will murder it, because "it is a cell", "it cannot feel" of course it feels!

Sometimes I am consious that maybe it depends on the situation, the mother must really decide but honestly I think that there it is no justification for murdering anyone AND EVEN LESS IF IT IS YOUR BABY!!

Internet /cellphones

Are we becoming a cyber society/family?

One day talking with my mother she told me that times had changed and I thought that it was evident and perhaps necessary, but she told me that this is not that way thing were meant to be, she told me that we should use our new sources in general for needs, but that we shouldn't abuse from them.

She began telling how they use to have fun whe she was little, about how much she talked with her parents, about the first time she had contact with a computer and mostly with the internet, and then she told me that I should compare the age at which I began and the age in which she began.

Yes there were several years of difference, but that's natural and completely normal, but then I analyzed and I really realized how this is basically ending our personal relations, I though about those times when I'm laying on my bed just watching TV and my dad that is in his room calls me if he needs something or if he has a doubt about something, I mean he couls've easily ask me to go or come, but he rather to use his cellphone!! when I thought about it I thought it was really an exageration but now a days that is one of the most normal thing to do, we rather call someone than go with that person and ask her/him for something.

And now also, when we forget our cellphone at home we feel lost we feel TOTALLY uncommunicated, but we were bornes without a cellphone and we did pretty well for several years, but now we lose our cellphone for a minute and we are freaking out already, and our grandparents most of them NEVER had a cellphone and they did just fine.

Stress in students

Stress

Stress it had become VERY popular lately, we live our lives in a really extreme way, might even forget sometimes that we actually need to rest once in a while.

And us as students we might cause our own stress, but the question here is why do we let stress absrove our lives? well I think that maybe in the case of us students it might be because we don't really know how to organize our time, in the other hand there it is somtimes exessive work we have to do.

But, why can we lear how to organize ourselves, can we learn from past experiences, we must learn that if the way you make things in the past didn't work you maybe have to find another way to do things, and more in this world in which we live, because this is a very competitive world, we need to learn that yes, Of COURSE that being the bes and giving the bes of you is important and crucial, but in the middle of all that kaos is REALLY important to find a moment to relax and think of us as human not as competitive machines.

Earthquakes

EARTHQUAKES

I've been kind of conserned lately about things that have been happening around the world, things that have to do with nature matters.

We obviously all know that they have been several earthquakes lately and this is OBVIOUSLY not common, I've noticed that i less than half a year they have been 4 earthquakes! regardless of how harming they were they happened.

And talking with my mom and commenting with her about this she told me something that made me think, seh said "look all what we have done to nature it is giving us our payback, because it has to manifestate it self in some way", and at first I thought that it was exagerated that it was really senseless what she was saying, but one day I really thought about it and I realized that it mught be truth.

I thought like "what if..." maybe it can't be directly our fault, we of course have nothing to do with the movement of the techtonic plaques, but maybe it is in fact some sort of payback, becuase if we really think about it we might think of ALL of what we are doing to pur planet and what we have done, at the begging it might have been unconsiusly but at this point we ought to take conciousness about what we are doing.

Technology

Is technology really a benefit?

Technology had been a really good improval to all of the human beings it had changed our life completely, but is techology really a good thing, is it really something that is is making our lives better?, I know that an obvious answer to this qurstion it'll be OF COURSE!, but, if we just stop to think a minute about what technology has done to us we may find techonology scaring even because we no longer communicate personaly with each other, well of course we do but know is easier for us to send an e-mail, to make a phone call, to text message, personal comunication is one of the last options for us, in other matters we can just think about a moment in which the electricity has stoped working we all go out of our minds, we think that there's nothing to do we think that we have no internet, no TV and we just don't know what to do with ourselves, but if we think about the past, the past in which we didn't even knew electricity, well most of us we weren't even born jet but for our granparents was completely normal, they didn't even need electricity, know for most of us internet is a vital part of our life, one day without internet it is our end. So, we might want to stop to think, s technology really helping us or is it making us useless?

Insecurity

"Insecurity in Mexico"

Lately, I've been having concerns about how the future ins going to be, how our lives are going to be like, I thought about many aspects, they were two that cought mostly my attention, I thought about how technology will keep on changing our lives, and about the insecurity that we are living at now a days, and I thoight that before it was not like this, it had been getting worse and worse, so thats when I got really freakes out it this going to keep on going is this going to keep on growing?, because for me it is big enought, and even today when the phone rings and you don't know who is the one that's calling you act sort of agresive even, you don't want to say a word until you find out who is the one who's calling because you are afraid to be kidnapped.

When you are in the streets and an old man asks ypu for help you are afraid to help him, becuase he might be in a kidnappers group he might have drug in his hands and when he touches you he may do something to you, what I mean is that maybe in the futur we wont be able to leave home without a gun in our purse, and this is really worrying because we are afraid from each other and it shouldn't be that way, we should relay on each other we should be able to count on each other to trust us we are form the same kind and all this issues about insecurity shouldn't exisist we MUST begin to act as humans.

Death Sentence

"Death sentence"

A matter that had been really controversial lately in our society is the death sentence, Wheather we o shouldn't we accept it?, this is a really controversial theme and I think that it is a very personal opinion, that's why it had been so difficult to the government to decide if it is or not he correct thing to do to accept the death sentence.

The "positive" side of this is, (for someones) that they will have revenge, because thinking it seriously it is nothing but revenge whta this people want (the one that are in favor of the death sentence), but they will be getting nothing but to leave two destroyed families instead of one, and will be getting exactly the same as if the criminal went just to jail, becuase if the murder goes to jail they wont have that dead person back, and if they kill the murder they will be getting exactly the same just that they may be killing a housban, a son, a father...

The negative side from this is that maybe they will be making the murder a favor because you die and you don't have to deal with anything anymore you will have not punishement, because in my opinion it is much better to be death than a lifetime sentence to jail, so probably you will be just setting free the criminal.

Unemplyment and migration in Mexico

It had been said that one of the most important causes of migration is the lack of jobs in Mexico, this is happening because lots of big bussines are comingo here, and this bussines don't really give oppotunities to Mexican people, they mostly bring their own emplyees, and the jobs to Mexican people are not really profesional.

I think that this must change, the goverment must give opportunities to Mexican bussines ket the familiar enterprises to grow, and mostly to know how to prioritze, and I'm not saying they are not prioritizing, I'm just saying that they are not really having a view to the future, because it might be kind of understendable the fact that Mexico's goverment give priority to other bigger enterpprises because they will give Mexico money, but just in the NOW, but in the other hand if they give opportunities to Mexican bussineses they will be investing in something that in a not far futur (from 5 to 15) might be giving much more to the country because it will be giving besides the capital it'll be giving jobs.

Scarcity of water in Hermosillo

"Tandeo" in Hermosillo

Since January 16th of 2010 the water in Hermosillo has been rationalized, the president from the "conaguah" has decided to give 8 hours a day of water to each neighborghood here in Hermosillo.

This situation makes me wonder, if the scarcity of water is that bad,I think that keeping families from having water all day long is reasonable, because there is water scarcity in all the world but, why specfically in the "tandeo"? I know that it is mostly because we have don't have any reservation of water.

And thinking more generally, I wonder if the third world war will be because of water.

Sarkozy also took the opportunity to defend his country's secular law forbidding citizens from wearing visible religious symbols in public schools and institutions.
“We shouldn’t be ashamed of our values. We shouldn’t be afraid to defend them,” Sarkozy said in an apparent partial response to President Obama's perceived indirect criticism of French secularism in a speech earlier this month.
The U.S. leader said religious people in Western countries should be free to dress as they choose.
Sarkozy said the burka, which includes a woven mesh covering the eyes, “is not a religious symbol. It’s a symbol of subservience.”

A sort of controversial subject lately it has been the prohibition of the burka in France and in some other European countries, the french goverment said that the prohibition of the burka was because, of the problem of the integration, because in France there ot os a lot of intergration problems, they are a lot of immigrates there, because of the colonies they use to have, now they are letting people from their old colonies in to France as citizen. this includes also musulms and they obviously have their own religion and their own traditions, and all the mixture of cultures is being a problem for France, because that is creating a big problem which is violence and bandalism, because people who move from their countries to France and not French but when they go back to their coutries even for visit they are not taken as originaries from there either.

So, supposedly Sarkozy said he was doing that to promote integration, becuase when you see someone walking by the streer with burka you immediately are able to know that s/he is not originally french.

Drugs Legalization

Drugs Legalization have been a very controversial subject lately, and as almost every single subject it has it's pros and it's cons.

It should be prohibit because, it is a nocive subtance for health, and you may do thing under it's efects without being concious, and I think that I'll be goos because the drug dealer won't have much bussines to make, and perhaps I'll make this country a safer place to live.

And I think that it might be handeled as every other drug, to be sold only to adults, and until certain hours and in certains amounts.

IVA Increasing

Taxes had increased lately, and this is affecting all of us, because for instance people that won for instance $5,000 now the taxes make them get less money because of what the goverment take from it.

In the other hand I think that this decision what made thinking about the well being of all Mexicans and our economy.

Scarcity of water

Scarcity of water is a problem that is had been afecting Hermosillo since January 16th 2010, the goverment has been limiting Hermosillo's Families to eight hours of water per day, it might even be good until some point because we are using less water and by this we are helping earth.

It also has a bad side, because now we are not able to shower at any time we want, and we are not able to to do a lot of things (mostly cleaning matters) becuase now we have like a schedule to do the thing we need to do with water.

And in a very extreme case it might even affect big industries, because maybe their production will low down, or the quality may low down too and and prices and the industry economy in general.

Kidnap on Haiti

This article talks about 33 haitian kids that were about to be ilegally transported to the United States, some of them still had parents, and a little girl that was interviewed, said that she thought or was told that she was going to on vacations, and they say also that they were going to be sold for 10,000.

I think this a really Inhuman thing to do, people are taking advantage of Haiti's situation, and instead of being any sort of help for Haiti they are sort of haming them, because not all of the kids were orphans, they were actually taking some kids that did have their parents, and by doing this they are making Haiti's situation worse.

Racism

Ariel Gómez León, diputy of Chiapias who also is the announcer of a radio show, made a very racist comment the other day and unfortunately he was heard by a lot of people, he said that in Haiti people looked abusive, that they were kinf ot taking advantage of the situation, and he also said that they were all alike (or the same) he said that they were all black and stuff like that.

I think this is a really big problem because racism is a big problem right now (even though is not a problem that big as it used to be), but how can we demand respect when we are not capable of respecting others not even in that really sad sitation they are in now, and even after he did it he denied it and he said that he thought that the microphone was turned off and that he just say it jocking that he did not meant any harm, and that it will be ironic if he was a racist because he said his dad is a veru dark man.
