Do we need war?

We now that power is the main reason of war. Some people always want to be over the rest; they want power and control. Politicians are a very good example of leaders because they want to lead and control other people. Most of the wars are caused by disagreements in the governments. When leaders have disagreements the first thing that it gets to their minds is war, weapons and all that stuff to destroy the other country. Do they really need to do that just to get power or money?

War just causes damages and dead, why they consider war like a solution? There are so many solutions to problems and disagreements war is not necessary. There are so many laws for murder and why this people in war don’t are punished if they kill other people o why there is not a law that prohibit war?

Politicians should think in their people, because war not only damage the other country also their own country.

Communication is the solution to problems, and there are so many media they should use them but not the media of war.

I don’t that there could be a good reason for war. Normal people don’t want war on the contrary the only thing that we want is peace! People want a good place were they can live, family, food, water but no war.

If we want a peaceful world where all people can get along, there should be no war. There are other solutions, we definitely don’t need war. War is only damage.

Summer Wars

Last weekend I saw an animation movie called "Summer Wars" I really liked this so much that I consider it to be one of my favorites.

The main plot about this movie is that everyone in the world is connected to a famous web page called "oz", a webpage-like facebook. In this site, everyone can use it for playing, buying things online, communicate, or even working. The main problem arises when a virus shows up in the interweb, called "love machine". This extrange virus hacks every user from the webpage.
When doing this, the smart virus accesses the username's account and, since the username used this account to work, the virus can manipulate every aspect of his work. For example, if the hacked user worked in the system that controlled the traffic light, the virus can manpulate the traffic lights but not only that, it can manipulate hospital machines too, unfortunately, creating confusion and chaos to citizens, a new type of terrorism.

This movie suddenly becames more serious when the virus manages to hack an account that worked with a satellite. Knowing this, the virus enters the satellite's system and commands it to impact earth, creating a collition similar to a bomb.

This made me think that, since internet now a days is used more often, someday we will highly depend on it. I really understand that someday, the internet world will be the new type of main battleground for a world war, if we ever have one...

Violence in Mexico !!!

Our country is having a big and terrible problem with violence. The government is acting against this WAR; but we can’t see results or even a sign of change. Mexico is really having a constant war with this entire people that are killing others, negotiating with drugs and damaging innocent persons only for pleasure.

People is shouting – It’s Over!, but nobody is acting against all this, maybe the security in Mexico has increase, but we can’t even cross the street or walk in a highway because we don’t know who is going to kill us or shoot us with a gun, or maybe violate us. We are so scare about this situation that we are preferring not even to go out of our houses. The only word for this conflict is war. We are really in a civil war were people is practicing activities that every day they are more common.

Now at days it is very common to see drogadicts in the streets, violated people or car accidents. We, adolescents and kids have the world in our hands, we can’t continue our lives like this, we need to make a change, if not the problem is going to grow, and even by standing out your house door you will need a gun to protect of people.

Disarmament

In 2007, world military expenditures totalled some $1.34 trillion. The need for a culture of peace and for significant arms reduction worldwide has never been greater. This applies to all classes of weapons.
On the danger of nuclear weapons, Albert Einstein reportedly said: “I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”
But the human and material cost of conventional weapons is also extreme. Of at least 640 million licensed firearms worldwide, roughly two thirds are in the hands of civil society. The legal trade in small arms and weapons exceeds $4 billion a year. The illicit trade is estimated at $1 billion. And such conventional weapons as landmines take an toll on life and limb that continues for years after the conflicts that spawned them are finished.

I believe that disarming every country that has too many weapons is essential to reach world peace. Even if conflict between humans is an essential part to human life I believe that disarming will make this conflicts much less fatal to a lot of people. The simple possesion of weapons by a country makes that country much more prone tu using those weapons. If a country lacks weapons it is much less likely that it will buy weapons to fight. I hope that disarmament becomes a reallity and helps save many innocent lives.

Save Darfur

Sudan is one of Africa's largest countries. It has a very varied population and many different ethnic tribes. It is a place filled with life and variety. Even though there are many different tribes in Sudan they have always managed to live in peace and to coexist in harmony.

Sudan is affected by many issues that affect all of Africa. Sadly, it is also affected by social issues that are caused by its social inestabililty. The historic political and economic marginalization of Darfur caused two armed social movements to arise and fight against the government. These two social movements attacked many of the government's military instalations causing many damages and losses for the government. In an attempt to stop these two social movements the government killed the tribes that provided food and supplies to the armed movements. These left millions without a house to live in and destroyed over 400 villages.

The Sudanese government attacking it's own people is something hard to concieve. The sole act of destroying one's own possesions is crazy, much more the fact of killing your own civilians. It is not only antinational but also antihumanitarian. The actions that the government has taken are very wrong I believe and should be stopped or at least they should change the ways they do things. The social movements should also be more careful, they could make peaceful resistance instead of attacking with violence. The UN is trying to make a change in these areas and help all the homeless people that this civil war has left. We should all start to create a general knowledge of this kind of problems that really affect a big number of the population.
