Loveless Marriage

In China there are 3 ways to dishonor your family, and one of those ways is not having a kid. So what happens to homosexual people? They have 2 options; 1, they keep living their life and are very secretive about it or they marry a girl. Being homosexual in China is not very good seen, is not like in other countries where they are more open minded.

The government has interrupted a lot of activities done by homosexuals and closed locals of them too. So what they decide to do in order to be a good son is to marry some girl. The bad part is that they are both really miserable. The one that doesn´t feel love for his wife and the other that is trapped in a loveless marriage.

It is common for that type of girls to not know their husbands are homosexual until they are married. The girls feel miserable because their husbands don´t even look them in the eye and even less touch them so they have come to a solution. They created a site so they can support each other.

Is curious that they don´t divorce they just accept what is happening without questions. There are around 25m of marriages like this. I think this is so unfair, people should marry who they really want, and marriage should be about love. This partially happens because homosexual can´t marry between them so they should let them I don´t think there is anything wrong.

Looking for Love

China has 22% of the world´s population, which means that there is a lot of millions of people there right? And even though they are a lot they have problems finding love.

China has the one child policy so they prefer to have boys and if they know they are going to have girls they can have an abortion so as a result there is a wide gap between the number of girls and of boys.

Girls don´t look for looks, they look for someone who can support them economically, that means that they search for someone with a job. Hundreds of Chinese graduate but only a few get jobs so; many of them are old and still living with their parent, that’s when the parents come in.

There is this big event in which parents with boys have a blue ribbon around their wrist and if you have a daughter the ribbon is red. Then around you there are a lot of cards with information and a picture and parents just go to other person and ask about his or her kid to see if they could be happy if they married.

So this event wouldn´t have to happen if China wasn´t so bad with girls, they are important.Going to a place like that as if it was a market its really sad and I fear is going to get worse each year.

"Together Untill The End"

Together until the end? YEAH RIGHT… Do you really know what am I talking about? Maybe some of you do know a lot much more than me about this topic, but in the resent days I have noticed some interesting facts about divorces, and I’m not saying that this is my case or my parents’. I have some friends of mine who are children of a divorced couple, and they have had a lot of problems regarding to their parents’ divorce. They are not confident with anyone and they are more reserved. They don’t actually smile nor have fun as they usually did. Now their parents are each one with another partner, and this partner has his/her own children! So imagine... my friends have like 6 brothers and sisters that are not actually biological ones. Could you be able of living like this?
While I was talking to one of my uncles, he told me that Sonora has actually the highest divorce rates all over Mexico, and I don’t know if in the world. Today people is not conscious of what marriage means. MARRIAGE IS FOR EVER! In ancient times, people think two times before getting marriage in order to avoid separating from their partners, but today this is very different. People today think of marriage as a game, they get married once and if things go wrong, they get divorced and in most of the cases marry again. PEOPLE MARRY WITH THE IDEA THAT THE CAN ACTUALLY GET DIVORCED!!
This problem is because we as a society do not know how to deal with problems. We prefer to avoid confronting problems. Divorces DESTROY entire families. Divorces DESTROY entire lives. So why don’t we do something to avoid this? If you are not completely sure of loving with all your heart, well... DON’T MARRY HIM/HER! Avoid that divorce step. Believe me, you will save a loooooot of money because divorces are really expensive, and at the same time you will save yourself a lot of formalities.
LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH =)

Getting married

In Mexico City the government has approved that people from the same gender (man-man or woman-woman) get married. This has become a problem because a lot of people are against it saying that that is not correct, and if they adopt children they will be raised in a not normal family, which will change their values, principles, etc. But in the other side, there are also a lot of people who approves this decision.

Personally, I approve this law. Every person is free in their decisions or acts, and people shouldn’t interfere in their lives, especially if there are their preferences. Not because someone likes other things than the majority of people should be treated different. I am also in favor of they wanting to form a family, I don’t see a problem in adopting children. The child will know the truth and not because their parents (men or women), are of the same gender, the boy or girl will also prefer that. This comes in their genes, and cannot be modified by seeing other people. Also, they will be benefited, they will have two people who care for him or her and will act as their parents.

Why the government should avoid a personal decision? We are all humans, we are all different.

Polygamy, more than a big love

Have you ever watched Big Love? Well, for those who haven’t, it is a TV show about a guy who has several wives and lives with all of them in the same house. Polygamy basically means having more than one wife of husband at the time. Usually Mormons are the ones practicing this because they believe having several wives and a lot of children will help them reach heaven.

I personally do not agree with this type of marriage. I think it is sick and really unfair. I could not imagine myself having to “share” my husband, the man I love, with other women that have the same rights as me. I do not think in this multiple marriages the man actually loves each and every of his wives. I think a person can only love one person truly. I don’t think polygamist marriages are based on care and equality. I think of them as very sexist and possessive. A man can live perfectly happy with one wife. There’s no need of having all those poor women serving one man. But again, that is their religion and beliefs in some cases.

On the other hand, it is really difficult to raise and support all those children. All these births are affecting the economy and making overpopulation grow. Each time a child is born, it represents an expense for the government, and of course for the family. In these times of crisis it is harder to pay for everything a child needs. Also, overpopulation is a major world issue nowadays. I think overpopulated countries should be prepared to apply regulations as soon as possible, just as China did.

It will be really interest having polygamy where a woman has several husbands. I think that will be the ultimate expression of feminism. Maybe one day, this type of marriage will be common. I personally wouldn’t be interested, though. It will make perfect sense if you think about it. Think about all that women have accomplished in such a short period of time. Everything says we will keep fighting for equality and beyond.

Why should homosexual marriage be legal

In the last month, there was a very controvertial topic on the media: Should they legalise gay marriage?Añadir imagen
In my opinion the answer is Yes. Why? Because they are people, just like you and me who love each other, just as any other heterosexual couple. We are supposed to live in a tolerant world that accepts you just as you are. Being homosexual is not wrong, it is not a disease and people should not be ashamed of being. However, currently there are a lot of people saying it is wrong. Why? According to these reluctant to change people, homosexual lifestyle is not healthy and it is just as dangerous as smoking or drinking because 'all' of them are infected by sexual transmitted diseases. This is not true. Both homosexual and homosexual are likely to get infected if they do not use a condom or have only one sexual partner. Being homosexual does not mean being promiscous, they love their couple as much as a man loves a woman and vice versa.

Other reason, which I found very implausible by the way, is that God does not love them and He does not bless these unions. But God is a loving fatoher who loves all his sons, ALL OF THEM no matter what and I think He wants their sons to be happy with to one they love by their side. Actually, Associations of Pshychiatry and Psychology have stated that a homosexual couple is just as stable and committed as a heterosexual couple, and that homosexuality IS NOT A MENTAL DISORDER. These last statement is very important since many people today think it is, but it is just a preference.

Gay marriage should be legalised because they have the right to receive the same benefits, rights, obligations and that a heterosexual married couple receives, such as social, psychological, health and educational. Also, legalising same-sex couples marriage will end up with the social unacceptability and people will become more tolerant and start to accept them in society. Also, hate crimes and violence against lesbian and gay will decrease.
