Mexican immigrants in other countries
Most mexicans chose the second alternative; they prefer to go to work to other places like the U.S, Canada or Europe even if they will be apart from their families, because they know they will probably get a better job than the one they could get in Mexico.
But, do they really know what they possibilities of working are? Even if they travel somewhere else, they still have the chance of not getting a job because they are not competely prepared to do so. They just emmigrate because they don't find chances here, but that doesn't mean they will find a better one abroad.
The Mexican government doesn't seem to be taking actions over this topic. It only seems to tell people that it can be dangerous to go somewhere else to work; however, it looks like it is not willing to educate people personally to tell them what the real situation is if they go to work to another place.
But then, what should the Mexican people do? They don't have work here, neither in another country. I believe its about education and culture; Mexicans should still try to live and work in Mexico even if its hard, I consider that better than going somewhere else because they don't take the risks that that would imply.
The Mexican government should also be warned about this problem. They must try to convince Mexicans than going somewhere is risky and try, at the highest possible point, to create more jobs especially for the poor people whose decision of living abroad is really tentative.

Kidnapping

Fear, suffer, pain, psychological trauma….. These are some of the consequences of suffering a kidnap.
This crime has been increasing in our country through the recent times.
Kidnapping is being considered now a big business to the offenders, that’s why
We know that kidnapping is not new, but in the last years this topic has been of very importance in the country and that maintain alert to millions of Mexicans. This make that
Kidnapping is one of the most frequent crimes that atent to the dignity and psychology of a person and as I already said is causing a lot of controversy in the recent times. Why people want to seize over a person? Or why they illegally enclose that person and require a rescue?
These are some questions that I make myself when I hear that a person has been kidnapped. I know that they do it for money or things like that, but I don’t think that kidnapping a person is necessary.
From the 51 kidnappings occurred this year 7 have been “self-kidnapping” y they have recorded 49 persons from the 12 gangs, but also they have send to the judges 50 cases without a prisoner. From the 51 kidnappings the 60% has been declared, but not only are the kidnappings but also the assaults that impact directly to the people.
All what is happening about kidnappings make people move to different cities away from their family and friends.170 families of 290 that search for a relative kidnapped run away form the country, because they are scared of hat can happened later. Fernando Ocegueda Flores, the secretary of “Asociacion Ciudadana contra la impunidad”, said the week per week is increasing the rate of people disappearing.
The government should take more rigorous measures for the cases of kidnapping. This goes against the dignity of each person. People have the right for being free and to live with their family, and kidnapping not only affect the person kidnapped but also their entire family. The family feel anguish and after that they can’t feel secure in the place were they live that’s why families are moving of country. Kidnapping is a problem that is affecting everyone and is increasing; needs to be stopped!
Graffiti

Sometimes graffiti can be considered an art, but not where it defaces the public or private property. Graffiti has become a very serious problem that is spreading from the largest cities to other locales. Graffiti is related with the gangs, and I considered that this is a form of vandalism that most of the time is not reported to police, but some people think that police cannot do something about it.
Graffiti is a common problem that we see every day in every street and we are in a certain moment costume to it. However, has a cumulative effect; its initial appearance in a location appears to attract more to make graffiti there and that’s how it grows.
Approximately, $12 billion a year is spent cleaning up graffiti in the
Most of the time graffiti is on a public property, but we are now seeing it in private too. For example, in transportation systems (trains, subways, buses, etc), streets, traffic signs, monuments, schools, walls, garages, etc.
The people that make graffiti are often young and male with ages 15 to 23 and most of the time students. They typically are male, but now we are watching women too. They operate in groups; perhaps 15 % to 20 % do it alone.
This social problem needs to be stopped now, because we are now seeing it in every place where we go. I don’t think that this type of graffiti looks beautiful in our streets or houses. The government should do something about it, so this problem can be stopped. Graffiti lead a lot of consequences, for example if they are often doing graffiti on your house maybe later they can enter to your house and stole things or make something worst! Also I think that it can be uncomfortable that you know that someone at night is doing graffiti on your wall and you don’t know who is it or what other things he or she can do.
Graffiti is an art, but we don’t need it on the walls, streets, and houses.

Poverty in Acapulco

We all know Acapulco as a top destination in Mexico. Receiving a lot of turists per year, Acapulco is a prove of the development that Mexico has shown during the last years. However, we usually see Acapulco as a recreational paradise, but is the rest of Acapulco the way we imagine it?
Acapulco is one of the cities with more rural poverty. About 24% of its population has barely nothing to eat. Their diet consists on the most simple and basic food, while some other people spend 1 or 2 days without doing so.
Another problems also come with the potable water and the cost of land. About 10% of Acapulco has no drinkable water, and many houses do not have a proper housing.
I think that this is a precise example of the inequal distribution of the income within Mexico. We have a lot of people getting richer everyday while the rest continues to live in the same social status level. I think the government of Mexico should focus, besides other issues, about really caring about its people. We have a mixture of culture along with corruption and personal interests that don't allow us to give people what they need and only look for a personal benefit.
Mexico has still a lot to progress, I believe there should be more campaigns about combatting poverty in Mexico. I think by doing this, Mexico will become a more stable country starting from its foundations.
Internet addiction killed a baby girl

Yesterday an interesting new was published. This sad new was about a corean baby girl that died of innutrition because her parents were internet addicts. Her parents were desemployed adults of 41 and 25 years old who played a virtual game named “Prius Online” for about 6 to 8 hours a day and didn’t give the enough attention and food to their daughter. This internet addiction took them to have a dead daughter and took them directly to jail.
With this article we can see what an addiction can do, the consequences of addictions, why should we avoid them and in the case of having an addiction the answer to “what should I do?” is: ASK FOR HELP!... to get attention and be able to get out of this addiction you have to first accept you have a problem and then ask for help so you can get through it without hurting so much yourself or other people.
We must be carful with the people you hang around because they may be bad people and it’s not good for you to hang around with people that can take you to an addiction or to do bad things.

Alcohol: a problem in our society.

Last night I was driving home, a car, driven by a drunk guy did not stop and almost crash me. Luckily, I stopped and I was able to get out of the problem. But, Why am I talking about this?... I think alcohol nowadays is a big problem in our society. People start drinking when they are like 11 years old and young people fall easier to an addiction, so, when they grow up, they become alcoholics. Specially here in México and in the north part of the country is where alcohol is consumed more and this is because of the hot weather.
In about 3 to 4 weeks, it will start the “cuaresma” time, and at this time, people from about 14 to 22 go to Kino and have “fun” drinking, as they call it. Hopefully this year things will be less dangerous because yesterday a new was published and it was about police trying to be stricter on this, and there will be more protection.
Personally, I think drinking alcohol is not necessary to have fun or as some people say “It is not necessary to have fun but it helps you to have a better time”. I think teenagers must be responsible and accept that they are not allowed to drink and that it is better if they do it that way because doing that save a lot of people from death.
¡THINK BEFORE DRINKING!

This earthquake provokes a lot of diseases. The mandatory said that they will use all the public web of health so they can take care of patients in risk, but also there are transport from destroyed hospitals to another’s.
The head of state said that they will found other solutions like campaign hospitals but also other local solutions that can be implanted in a medium term.
In infrastructure, they decide to establish emergency solutions, like the opening of alternative roads to the roads of pavement that are broken. The mayor problem is electricity; they need to restore electricity as fast as possible.

Violent videogames produce violent behavior

Do violent videogames really change the way people act? I cant really tell...but what i can say is that i do believe that violent videogames change people somehow. I think people can become adicted to videogames and start to get away from society, what takes them to be more sensible to events around the. Maybe they can become more aggressive, as the scientists say. If they do, a lot of events can be explained by this, and if scientists start working more to discover this hypothesis, violent videogames can be prohibited and crime could dicrease.

Drug dealing.
In the last year, drug dealing has increased a lot. The younge society is becoming more dependent and adicted to this substances, which is a social problem. In the past February 2nd , here in our city, hermosillo, a drug dealer who delivered drugs to homes, was arrested. He told the police in charged that every time he delivered a normal ration of drugs, he won 300 pesos. What does this means? That poor people, when they are desesperate to get some money, they resort to do this kind of things; it is easier to a poor man to became a drug dealer because important drug dealers look for people who really need to do it. How does it affect us? Of couse it affect us in a lot of ways. 60 % of the young people accept that they consumed drugs or try it even once. Drugs affects the way our body works, that is why consuming it can take you to comete another crime like killing. 80% of the car accidents are caused because of drunk people (alcohol is a drug).
We should becarful going out, because accidents can happen. Look around you and becarful with the people you are going out; if they are cosuming a drug, try to help in some way so people can stop cosuming this things.
