Birthdays!!!

Today is my best friend birthday and I started to think why do we celebrate birthdays?

I came up to the conclusion that it all depends in our culture ans society because we all have different ways in wich we celebrate birthdays.

I think that what we celebrate is not exactly the age( number) but more what is symbolizes like getting more mature, accumulating knowledge, having different experiences that help us to grow up and mature faster, etc.

I also think that it also applie

s to other cultures, in fact I don't think that people celebrate at all the number cause then why is everyone so obsses with getting older and staying young forever by finding the fountain of the eternal youth.

If I focus in the relgious side mabe it can symbolize the day when God decided I should come to earth to achieve a specific task.It can also be a day for spending time with all the people you care and love like your family and closest friends.

What ever the reason is I just know that I love

birthdays because it is a day were you can give gifts to your loved ones and its one of the days of the year were you can spoiled them with the things they've been wanting for a while.It is also a day for reminding them how much you loved them and care about their feelings.

Gay Family?

Lately we have heard in the radio, television, news and almost everywere about gay marriages. In some parts it its allowed and in other ones it is illegal. I don´t think it has something wrong, in fact I am happy for them, because that way they live like a regular couple and between the 2 of them they will be able to get higher credits that they can use to buy a house, or new car.

But then there´s this new issue, should they be able to adopt a child? many persons probably think they shouldn´t, because they are afraid that they are going to abuse the child, or because thats wrong simply by saying a family should be conformed by a mother and a father; but then I think, whats with the single parent family? shouldn´t the that be not good either just because there is no mom or dad; and the kids that grow surrounded by only women or men? isn´t that kind of like the same, beeing race by a single sex (men or women). I think that there is nothing wrong with that and if you think about I bet that an orphan child would prefer to live with a gay marriage than in any institution. I made a little research and according to psycologists those children aren´t going to develop any psicological problems just by having a gay family.

I think its a good idea, maybe that way more kids would be adopted, after all no family is perfect.

Do we appreciate our family?

We all belong to a family, we all know that family is the base of society, but do we all appreciate our family?

Nowadays, people are always working, traveling, studying, doing a lot of things that are keeping them busy, this situation is affecting the relationship between brothers and sisters, parents and sons; they don't have enough time to talk, to hang out, and they don't realize that they are losing an opportunity to get closer to them.

If we analyze, the members of our family had always been around us; supporting us in every situation.

Our parents put a lot of effort to give us everything; to raise us in the best way. They were always protecting us and taking care of us.

Our siblings were also always present in every situation. We shared with them a lot of feelings and emotions that connected us a lot.

I consider that we all should try to do everything to prevent the lack of communication between family members. We should appreciate our family, we should care about our siblings and parents situation because they won't be here forever.
