Eating Disorders

In this article I read about some kinds of eating disorders. Eventhough this is a thematic is always being talked about, there is something that caught my attention. One of the eating disorder is anorexia nervosa. It is caused by the low self-esteem. Some conflicts that cause anorexia can be stress, anxiety, unhappiness and feeling like life is out of control.

Another eating disorder is the Bulimia Nervosa. Now a days women and men have this type of problems. The Bulimia consist in taking laxatives or self-induced vomiting, because they feel fat, or overwhelmed with coping with their emotions.

What really caught my attention in this article, was the fact that men are now having this kind of problems, this does not mean that men are stronger and less available to acquire this sicknesses than women. This mean that vanity is growing inconstantly in our minds because of marketing, sell of products and magazines.
