Buses in Our Life

Have you ever used a bus? Do you know what the SUBA system was about? Do you know how many costs a bus trip around the city? What are the characteristics of the buses in Hermosillo?

What are the benefits of using buses? What are the risks of using buses in the city?

A bus is a vehicule that transfers people from one place to another, but I am only going to focus on the city buses.

The government of the city is in charge of providing to the society means of transport. However, however, gobernants have not provided yet a good transportation service.

The conditions of the buses are quite bad:

-Most of them have no air conditioner.

-There are no enough buses.

-The rutes do not go everywhere.

-You have the risk of being infected by someone else's disease.

-You have the risk of being robbed.

-You have the risk of being damaged and disturbed.

And there are many other disadvantages.

With all these I want to attack one certain point: Why do they charge people for using a bus in bad conditions?

Each time a person uses a bus, he needs to pay. Five pesos is the normal cuote for people. Do you think it is fair to pay five pesos for using a disgusting bus? Do you think it is fair to pay five pesos for a 2-minute trip? Do you think it is fair to pay five pesos for a trip in which you are in risk of being robbed or infected?

We, the "hermosillenses" should fight for a better quality of life, and this quality involves getting a good transportation service. We should demand our government better buses with better conditions. We pay taxes because they force us to pay them. We should force them to better the buses' conditions.

Remember, we are human beings; we deserve fairness, as well as a good quality of life.
