"Areolines Still Suffering"

I read that Mexicana y Aeroméxico, the two of the main airlines in Mexico, are about to fusion. This isn't as strange, the shocking part is that this action is being taken because the air transport market hasn't been able to recover since the terrorist actions in September 11, nine years ago. I truly can't believe how delicate can be a market and how long can it be affected by an event.

And the worst part is that this is an international situation. The global tendency in air markets is to fusions and alliances, so this isn't only about having low quality, or being near the U.S.A. This is an excellent example abut how companies can crumble and how economies can change drastically just because an event and have transcendent effects in a long term.
