The Islamic Republic of Iran

Iran is a very large country in Western Asia. Its political system is based on the 1979 Constitution; this means that all citizens must have equal and appropriate opportunities. In relation to the foreign relations that Iran has with the rest of the world, well.. I did a research and found that they are based on two strategic principles: eliminating outside influences in the region and pursuing extensive diplomatic contacts with developing and non-aligned countries.
Iran has many problems with the United States, this due to its suspicious nuclear program. Iran has been designated a state sponsor of terrorism for its activities in the continued involvement in terrorism and its nuclear weapons ambitions. There are also a lot of problems within the oil sector because Iran is very rich in this natural resource. Oil provides the majority of the incomes. Also discrimination to women implies a huge social problem. There is no gender equality.
P.S.
I will be writing more about Iran while I continue with my research.
