Our Responsibility as Citizens

As citizens, most of us are just complaining about society issues. We are all aware about scarcity of water, we are all conscious that there's a lack of values in our society, we all know that there's corruption everywhere; racism and discrimination are problems that are always present in our daily life and we are constantly talking about it, we are all "concerned" about it, we are always questining why the government does not act, why people is wrong and keep on doing everything wrong, but we never realize that we are able to do something about it. We think that by complaining or talking about an issue, we will get the answer, we will end this situation, or we think that someone else is going to do something to solve the problem.

Why do we keep on acting in that way? why are we still waiting for a magic answer?

It is time for us to start working; we must be autonomous to start working by ourselves. It seems like we are waiting for everything to get wasted. Are we trying to waste all water on earth to realize that we can't live without it? It seems like we do. We must realize that we have the answers for all these situations; we are capable to fin the solution.

Let's start with the simplest things: let's start putting trash where it belongs, let's stop wasting water while we are taking a shower, let's respect every person we interact with, let's start being responsible, and finally, let's start acting with autonomy to create a better place to live in.
