Will it work?

The new law in Arizona (SB1070) gives the right to police officers to arrest and interrogate any person that can create suspicion of being an illegal immigrant. All this created a completely different view of the state of Arizona. All people sees them as racists. This issue came to my ming and I thought it was something interesting to be analyze.

I personally think that this law may be reasonable up to certain point; it is excesive that police officers have the right to arrest any person when they feel like it. But also, I think that Arizona needs this kind of laws. Every year thousands of people cross the border in a illegal way; this people avoid taxes and they consume and use the state facilities.

Maybe Arizona will have some positive results, at least less imigrants will enter to the state in illegal ways. But this will create more negative results than positive. One example is that Arizona will have a massive reduction in their tourism incomes, because many Mexican people have their vacations over there, and as a result of this law; they see Arizona as racist and over the edge.
So the question is: Will this law work for Arizona?

Global Warming Actions

Our partial video it's about the topic global warming focused on the United States of America. So we investigated to make our first video and we ended reading to articles that talked about this topic. We found two interesting articles; one of them was called “Leaving a Good legacy”. This article talked about senators Joe Lieberman and John Kerry who introduced the American Power act. These laws have a number of elements that try to lead business and environmental groups to a cleaner energy-path. Both senators will focus their career on creating more jobs and to find alternative fossil fuels.

Both articles said that global warming is a very big problem that nobody seems to care about. We are not seeing the big picture here; most of all think that this is just a problem that will make the world a hotter, and maybe some icebergs will melt, but at the end we say: "Come on!, world can't die." And it is true, world will not die, but life on it will. That is what we are not seeing, human race will be extinguished, and so all kind of life on this planet, and it is our entire fault. It is time for us to change, start making the right decisions.

Ecuador Proyect

Well my team and i decided to do the proyect of the class of introduction to economics, society and politics in the week end in Lulu’s house. We started to do it in Friday but couldn’t finished so we went again to Lulu’s house the day of Saturday. It was really hot. We couldn’t concentrate. We started at like 5 o’clock pm in the afternoon and at like 10 at noon we haven’t progress absolutely nothing. Well, not nothing but very little. There was very little information about Ecuador, I was really frustrated that we couldn’t get the proyect done and finish. So, we decide again to do it together at Sunday. When Sunday arrived it was still really hot, we were tired and frustrated and of course very stress. But even thought all of this happen we finished the proyect. But now I was really stressed because I haven’t even started to do the blogs for the same class! So I decided to talk to the teacher so he could let me do them for wednesday and he agree and I was happy. I am still really happy so that’s it.

Who to balme?-The HW

I think it is an interesting topic because we are always blaming the government for everything and the economic crisis is not the exception to the rule.
Regularly I hear people in the radio or in the restaurants talking about the economic crises, that the economy this and the economy that, and they always blame our government for it. But then I think, who is it responsible for it? I think that to be able to answer the question we first need to know how banks work.
We know that a bank works basically by winning the trust and confidence of people, and that if one of these is broken very bad things can occur, like for example leading us to an economic crisis. Like the example that we saw were a bank had declare that they were not going to be able to keep lending money, up to this point everything was completely fine with the bank. Later after that announcement the people started too freaked out and started to withdrawal all their money at the same time all of their money from banks. Because of this the blanks started to run out of money c cause in theory they have the money but since they invested that money the banks weren´t able to give back to all people all of their money, leading to an economic crises.
And who is it that because of one bank the rest started to fall apart? Well, because of the paranoia that the people had and because as we know banks borrow money from other banks.
Therefore I think that the ones that should be blamed is us, cause at the end we are the ones that in first place started to stop paying our mortgages and the ones that were withdrawing all the money from the banks. Maybe if banks could have predicted people’s behavior they would never had made those announcements and the money from the banks would have never been withdrawal.

Homework Economic crisis

I think we should blame everyone! I think that the first ones that we should blame is us, the ordinary people. I say this because, first it was our need to have more material stuff that bring us to borrow lots of money to the banks. Money that the people didn’t had so they would never ever pay back the money to the banks. Then, here the banks are the ones that we should blame. Why? Well, because the banks started to borrow credits and money to people that they knew that will never pay them up. People like inmigrants and people that have a very small quantity of money. Why did the banks did this? I don’t know. I think they did it because they could. Now, in my opinion here is where the governments are to blame. If the governments had come up with laws and regulations to manage better the money this problem would have never happened. Now, for example if the government would have said that instead of borrowing 90 percent of the money of the savers they would save i don’t know maybe 50 percent of the money it would have been less off a problem and no one would be in a reccesion or coming out of an economic crisis. I think that we should change our points of views and governments and banks work together to manage the money better.

Obesity in Mexico

In the last decade the radical changes in the eating habits in Mexico is causing health problems to Mexicans. Mexico is now one of the fattest nations on the planet.
Studies show that 68% of adults in Mexico are overweight and that 29% are obese; just behind United States where 74% are overweight and 39% are obese.
Only two Pacific nations, Samoa and Tonga, have heavier populations.
There is also concern in Mexico’s rising weight children. Mexico’s Government announced this month that surprisingly 35% of school pupils are over their recommended bodyweight.
In an antiobesity campaign the government is starting to support events of sporting events and healthy-eating propaganda directed to young people.
One of the events planned is a Thriller dance with 11,000 dancers where people are suppose to join in order to start dancing and burn calories. The event is scheduled for August 29 in Mexico City’s central plaza
The changing dietary habits in Mexico may have result from an extremely globalized economy. Since 1994, when North American countries signed the Free Trade treaty, the imports of processed food and drinks have increased.
Now at days Mexico consumes more Coca Cola products per capita than anywhere else in the WORLD, a total of 635 eight-ounce bottles per person each year. This amount represents a threefold increase compared to 1988.

UK elections 2010

Elections take place every 5 years in the United Kingdom, and 2010 happens to be a year of elections. More than 45 million people from aged 18 or above will get the chance to vote in order to choose a new Member of the Parliament.
The party that gets more MPs than all of the others put together will get to form the new government. But if none of the party’s manages to get enough MPs to win outright there will be a hung Parliament. The leader of the party with the most MPs will become the prime minister but it is also possible that two parties join to work together in a coalition only of they are able to rely on more than half the cotes of the MPs.
This year elections will be different because it will be fought on new constituency boundaries everywhere except Scotland, where new limits came into effect in 2005 elections. The new House of Commons will comprise 650 seats rather than the 646 contested in 2005. A party requires 326 seats to ensure a majority.

Damage to Mexico

The problem of the insecurity in Mexico is a matter that has me very worried, insecurity has become our “pan de cada dia”. We read, hear and see by all the possible media scaring news about the growing of insecurity in our country.
It is so much the fear to be kidnap or victim of the insecurity in Mexico that a few months ago there was a big manifestation in Mexico’s City. People got together and dressed in white as a symbol of wanting and demanding peace in and security in Mexico.
The only bad thing about these manifestations is that politicians are using this type of things to win votes, and a peace matter is turning into politicians’ affairs.

Arizona Model United Nations

In this blog I am going to write about my amazing experience over there in AzMun. In the first hours of the trip going to Tucson I was a little down but it was because I had some unfinished issues that I needed to solve and couldn’t in that moment. Then, when we got over to the barbecue to meet with the Americans that were also going to AzMun. I was really excited bit because I saw lots of beautiful American girls. Right away I started to flirt with all of them. I really loved my experience over there in AzMun.
Then I met Taylor, which was the person who I stayed that night. She and her family were awesome. They started to talk with my in Spanglish and it was great; the house was great, it was beautiful and big.
The next day we went to the school and I fell in love with it! Well, not really but I like it a lot. The teachers were very nice and the students were very open and outgoing except one but I am not going to write about him. The day of the debate at first it was really boring and slow but later on the debates started to become really fun and entertaining. That was when I realized that I like a lot doing debates. I loved so much going to AzMun that I want to go next year.

Obesity

Did you know that Mexico is one of the fattest countries in the world? Mexico is the second fattest. 24.2% of the population is fat! That’s a lot of people. One of the reasons for this is because the rate of amount of people that eat fast food is growing. Each day, the development of more fast food industries grows. There are about 205 McDonalds in Mexico. And why do many people eat fast food? Because unfortunately it is really cheap and economical. And as you may know about 60% of the population suffers of poverty.
In Mexico it is very normal to see in the “tienditas” lots of junk food such as chips, soda, cookies, etc. and people consume it because its it practical and inexpensive. Sadly, healthy food such as fruits and vegetables or healthy snacks tends to be much more expensive. And because of this people tend to avoid eating healthy.

Possible Strike, coming soon at UNISON!

A strike for an university, where they teach young people which want to be profesionists, and have a good future, with good bases; it's not good!

Another time, the University of Sonora is in troubles, in terms of conflicts between Sindicates and the directors. These workers are asking for more salary and different wills they have. I don't really know what are they asking for, exactly, but what i know is that, no matter who is the fault of the possible strike; if the strike happens they will be affecting thousands of students, and not only in their academics but also in their lives, and economic situation. Most of people in Universities is there because of their effort, and what they have win (money, etc) to maintain their residency in Hermosillo.
These people that is having conflicts and stopping classes is provoquing that these group of people who really works in order to have a good education, and go on in life, lost money and lost valuable time of school.
May be they are being injustice or may be not, with the workers of UNISON; but before making a strike and stopping academic courses for students, they must think in them; in all the effort, some are making to be there, and not only that, how much they will be affecting their studies...

In my own opinion, I think these strikes instead of helping and improving conditions for the demmandant's, they put them in worst conditions and they also, affect others (in this case, students).
I am thinking possitively by expecting that the STRIKE do not appear, for the well-being of the UNIVERSITY and of the STUDENTS, who are the most important!

These workers beside complaining, should be working! and helping the students... These complains won't let to anything, any one will give them, improvements of salary, with those manners of asking for. Put to work, and let Students study!!!

Mexican Congressmen approved Law against "Comida Chatarra" in Elementary Schools

They will remove Sabritas and all that food, and will obligate each school to have at least 30 min of sports activities! They declared war against Obesity...

This is a very good new for mexican children because "comida chatarra" will dissappear from schools, and sport will enter. This will help to improve the general health of our children, that as we may know has many problems with obesity. Besides helping the children by removing "chatarra", government will put a 3o min sport class...

It is a good new for parents and for children who have problems with obesity, because they will be learning how to manage and better their weight and health. It also is a good new for the political situation of Mexico. Eventhough it's just one law that has been approved, we have to thank our congress for approving it. It is a vital law that Mexico and his children need, because if the problems with health continue in children, imagine how will those boys will be in their adulthood; many mexicans could be dying or having a lot of health issues, and these will led to a social issue that can affect Mexico in many subjects.

I was waiting to this law to be approved, Mexico needed it. It is good for Mexico to teach their children how to manage and control their health, and to make them more intelligent, in these terms. The education of our children is the most important for a any country. In order to have a good education, they must have good health. This law will help and benefit children, may be first, they will be mad or dissapointed as the enterprises of "papitas", but later on, we will see the difference of having a healthy country...

Smokescreens from the government

As history tells, the government is Mexico has always tried to hide what goes on with the reforms in the country. For example, many people believe that the AH1N1 breakout was used by the government as a smokescreen to hide the current problems they were facing like the legalization of marijuana.

I don't think that the government using smokescreens is an ethical thing because they, in a way, "fool" us by not letting us see what is really happening.

I want to say that the Mexican government needs to tell people what happens in the country, and not use another things to hide it. This is why we still live in a country like this, because we don't feel secure that the government has the confidence to tell us what is going on. And because of this, we neither have the confidence to trust in the government's movements.

Mexico has to progress like those other countries that do not create a lot of smokescreens to hide their problems. Mexico has to realize that people want the country to be honest even if it is going through hard times. People in Mexico will then realize that the country is actually doing its job and will start feeling that Mexico is progressing.

The Giver

My favorite book is called the giver. It’s about a world where everything is null. There are no feelings, no pains, no colors, etc. you find out in the book that all of this was because of the government. Since you were born your whole life was planned out. All the families were the same; they consisted of a mom, a dad, a boy and a girl. The main character in this story is named Jonas. The story starts when he finds out that his destiny was to be “the receiver of memory”. A receiver of what? Of all the things in life they lacked for example Jonas learns what: love, sadness, to feel cold, to get burned with fire, he even learns to see colors. He sees the unfairness it was to keep these entire things away from the people, so he looks for ways to open their eyes and watch reality. What this society was “sameness” and they chose 1 person that would keep the memory of all those things so they wouldn’t get lost. The people in this world are okay with their life because they don’t know what they are missing off, and Jonas fronts the dilemma of: shall he do something about it or leave everyone as they are?

2012? just another obstacle..

Rumors come and go, but eventually turn people into chaotic attitudes. Truly we are not taking care of our planet, and we are being quiet ignorant of the situation (general talking, not everyone of course). We say that we want to do something about the environment, but as far as I see it, we are still using toxic chemicals, fossil fuels, biodegradables products, etc. maybe some people have stop using many Toxic products, but “some” people aren’t going to save the whole planet. We need for everyone to contribute at saving mother earth.
People are panicking because they see how many natural disasters and taking over us. Many statistics say that the end of the world will come in 2012, but so many statistics said the end of the world would be in the 2000, sound familiar? And yet here we are. We are smart enough to find ways to survive, and with the advance of technology we will most definitely do so. But we must stop being so careless about the situation. We are given the opportunity to live, so let’s be the best we can be. Let’s not ruin our future generations land.
So if you ask me, do you think we will survive? i say, with all do respect, hell yes. we are capable of changing our bad habits, we are capable of transforming people, but it is all in our hands. lets no let silly futuristic rumors affect us before anything happens.

The electronic vote

I participated in the debate that IFE organized. My posture was against the electronic vote. I found it really interesting, and thankfully I agreed with my posture. There are a couple of reasons that Mexico shouldn’t have electronic vote. For example, first Mexico isn’t ready for such a big impact of technology because more than 60% of the population doesn’t even know anything about computers. The electronic vote only benefits people of middle and high class and that is less of population. Another problem for this is that it would be secure anymore because the personal information of everyone would be also in the system; any good hacker could be able to find people´s address and telephone number just by looking at his name. Another reason why I am against is because we shouldn’t experiment with Mexico, if other more developed countries aren’t ready, so isn’t Mexico. My opponent mentioned “the benefit for the electronic vote is that it well be faster and more economical”. My response is, is the acceleration of this a true necessity or just a reflection of the “vida acelerada”. Good things take time, we must use the time we need to make decision so important. Another thing is that we can’t leave big NATIONAL decisions in hands of Mr. Technology, because we must remember that they are depended to light current, what if one day there was no electricity? What would happen to the votes? And what is magically there is a mistake in the counting, what will we say? The machine counted wrong? I don’t think so.

Scientology vs Anonymous

I was again searching amazing videos at youtube when I saw a viral video explaining a mail made by a group called "Anonymous" which was accusing the new religion called "Scientology" for being a more of a cult than religion. The basis of this accusation was that scientology was getting all forums that talk about their religion deleted; they used their own followers for financial frauds; and those who ever talk badly about them get "mysteriously" killed.

I really don't know too much about this religion but it makes me wonder, why would a religion use their power in order to make frauds to their follower? I think that a religion's only desire is to bring well being to people, to make them feel identificated, and that a religion should only be of help for the society and not for self interest. I really believe that any religion serves for this porpuses aside for its own teachings and believes.

The Extreme Situation we are living Today!

We are living in an extreme situation now at days; we are recently having incidents that are killing a lot of human population because of only one reason that provokes all this that is: POVERTY!

When we are talking about populations we can name then in two ways: a developed population or an industrialized nation. I’m going to talk you about the developed population. This kind of nation is developed, organized and has a great and strong economy but the thing right here is that a significant percentage (almost the majority) of the population is struggling to survive.

Now I’m going to describe some statistics that experts made in order to get an estimation of the people that is presenting this situation. At a poverty line of $1.25 per day, the revised estimates find:

a) a) 1.4 billion of people living in the poverty line or below

b) b) This is more than the previous estimate this means that the economy raises but only for the people in the middle-upper class and the upper class.

Poverty is advancing even more every time. All this big problem is originating other problems for the population that don't have the enough money to buy even a piece of bread. We are in danger, many people is presenting diseases that are spreading, many people is dying because of starvation or infections. Our world is developing, YES, but we are leaving apart our natural resources, the damaged people. Now at days we can see that the world is having extreme disasters because of the global warming and all the contamination we are producing. And it seems as if disasters are touching the poorest countries of the world. We need to change our way of governing and managing our economy because only a few of people is getting the benefits but the rest of the population is starving and dying on the streets. We create this, but we are destroying our world.

CRIME “Stop this please, we need help”

"Stop killing innocent people".........

What does CRIME means? After starting with this topic; I will like to share what does a crime means. A crime is an offence against a public law. In my words, for me a crime is an action that a person made in order to violate the law and to damage our society. A crime is always sanctioning if the person that commits it was found. We can’t see this topic as one, because in my opinion this joins lots of people in order to get with the criminal.

What are some types of crimes? We can find lots of crimes but the most important are these ones:

1) Serial crime (with a serial nature).

2) Federal crime (federal offense)

3) Organized Crime (transnational grouping manage by the leader)

4) Signal Crime (anti-social behavior)

5) Verbal Offence (limitations on freedom of speech)

8) White-Collar (committed by a well-standard person)

I’m going to be honest; I love crimes, I love the investigations and mystery that all these actions involve. For example there is a program on TV that I always see it (it name: “La Ley y El Orden”). I prefer to do these kinds of things and spend my night watching these movies than hanging out with my friends /depends.

Now, I’d had already see millions of cases of crimes that were very difficult and horrible to solve because they were about suicide or violation, so they were very aggressive. But one recent crime that happened right here in Mexico captured my attention. This crime was the one from the girl Paulette.

The first time I saw it, I thought: “ it’s the mom definitively”; but then when the girl appeared on the bottom of her bed, I started making different hypothesis. One of them is that maybe the mom got scared because it was an accident and she hide the baby, so then she get the baby out again and put it as if someone comes and put her there. But for example how does the police, with all that stuff of cameras, radios and technology couldn’t see who was the person that entered and hide the baby there. Another reason for the one I thought that was her mom is that when she is talking to the media, I don’t know if she was in shock or whatever but she doesn’t express her feelings. She was frozen; she doesn’t even have a tear.

Now, the other one that was suspicious for me or a bid doubt was her father. Maybe he wasn’t in her house, but for example he can get this as a vengeance toward her wife because they were separated. So, he left the girls and the mom says that they slept at 8 o`clock and when at 8 in the morning the “nana” came, she saw that the girl wasn’t there. But the only thing is that how does they can make this!!! Kill a girl of 4 years in order to take vengeance or any other objective that isn’t an excuse to kill a girl neither to kill someone or something.

Store Wars

While navigating youtube, I found many funny videos that aren't just viral but they also create conscience about the things happening around us.

On Grocery Store Wars, it explains that local markets are selling fruits, vegetables, and many other products with toxic contaminants that later on we buy them and eat them. I really wasn't aware of this issue until I saw this video. I really liked how they used a "Star Wars" parody with vegetables and use it to explain this issue about the toxics on food that many supermarkets sells now a days.

Birthdays!!!

Today is my best friend birthday and I started to think why do we celebrate birthdays?
I came up to the conclusion that it all depends in our culture ans society because we all have different ways in wich we celebrate birthdays.
I think that what we celebrate is not exactly the age( number) but more what is symbolizes like getting more mature, accumulating knowledge, having different experiences that help us to grow up and mature faster, etc.
I also think that it also applie
s to other cultures, in fact I don't think that people celebrate at all the number cause then why is everyone so obsses with getting older and staying young forever by finding the fountain of the eternal youth.
If I focus in the relgious side mabe it can symbolize the day when God decided I should come to earth to achieve a specific task.It can also be a day for spending time with all the people you care and love like your family and closest friends.
What ever the reason is I just know that I love
birthdays because it is a day were you can give gifts to your loved ones and its one of the days of the year were you can spoiled them with the things they've been wanting for a while. It is also a day for reminding them how much you loved them and care about their feelings.

A new experience!!!

Five years ago I had my first trip alone, with no mommy nor daddy!!!! oupii. I went to a international summer english camp for the whole summer in Canada.
I really enjoyed being there, it was something completely new for me. They are designed for young advanced english students and they envolve tons of activities like wild water rafting, safari adventure, maid of the mist, etc.
My school days were basically divided into 3 parts. In the morning I had my regular classes with my group, they arranged them by TOEFL scores, where we saw grammar and some other stuff depending on your level. The second part of the day was after luch and it was the writting workshop. There we had our blogs were we were supposed to writte our adventures of the week and our opinions. The third and best part of the day was after the second break when we went out of school or stayed in school depending in the installations that we would require to do the activities. In these part of the day we were divided by colors, these way we would meet everyone in school.

We also had some trips were we were also arranged by colors. We went to Toronto, Niagara Falls, Ottowa, Hull, Quebec and Niagara on the Lake.
I really enjoyed the camp because it was something completely new for me and I think I grew up a little bit more. My parents also say that these types of experiences are good for maturing, cause I am able to learn how to administrate my money and time by myself.

What's happening?

This is list of places were in the last 7 days they have been registered earthquakes and repetitions of 4.5 degrees and up. The list looks like if it would never end and it is getting me worried. Before the present year they have never registered so much earthquakes of these intensities. The consequences of these are terrible.

Lots of people have died, some other are in danger and in extreme conditions. Help and support from countries have been arriving to those countries that have been affected by Mother Nature. But, won't there be a point were getting help from other countries will be almost impossible I know that there are lots of countries in the world, but those countries that are able to make big donations are also being affected and what will happen to the needing people when they stop receiving help?. I just hope we never get to that point because I don't even want to think in the consequences, they should be terrible.

Could all these earthquakes be a consequence from global warming or are they just part of a natural cycle of planet earth I really don't know, and right know all I can think is when will they stop. I want them to end now before they cause more damage and worst things or before the people I know and love end harmed.

The Debate – Opinion and Experience

Last week we had a debate in the Congress Room with some of our classmates that were participating in different types of subjects. That day I had lots of things to do, so I decided to take a break in order to watch my friends debating with other teenagers. I remember that when I was talking to them before the event, they were like presenting a nervous crisis. Talking about reality they weren’t like that, but yes they were really stress and with anxiety of how does their opponent will react to their questions and opinions.

The hours passed and they were ready to say their speeches. It was already 11 o’clock and the first one that I saw was Fernando. He was nervous but very sure of what he was going to say in front of the judges and public. I remember that when I was sitting down on the front part of the audience I saw the judges to my left side and a traffic light on my right side. These lights were the ones in charge of telling the participants the time they have in order to finish with their speeches or answers.

Then the second person that I saw was Krista; she was very nervous, but I notice that she had some little pieces of paper in her hands in order to remember some of her words. When she was discussing with her partner he was always like trying to shout at her or make opinions that will make her feel uncomfortable. Krista was telling her opinions and the boy was like only just waiting for the response in order to attack her.

Finally I saw my last friend that was Paulina. She was always very sure of what she was saying. Her partner was also very hard but she defined and explained her point of view in a perfect way. After that they made their conclusions and some of the principals gave diplomas to the participants. They also announced the 3 places that won. The third place was Fernando ( I was very happy that a classmate could win the 3rd place). Then the second place was a boy of 6th semester and finally the 1st place was Marcos from 6th semester also. (He gave very good arguments and a lot of statistics about the topic).

Now talking about my opinions in the debate I will like to focus in only one topic. I love the topic of the technologic urns. I think that it has a lot of positive but also negative aspects. For example some of the positive aspects that I notice were that this new machinery will help to improve our ecological culture that is being fomented during all this years. Also that we are going to have more chances to vote for the handicapped people. And even though Mexico isn’t very advance in technology and all that things we have to open and accept new changes every time we can in order to look for benefits and services to community.

Definitively I will say that I’m in favor with the technological urn. Why? Because I love change and the concept that Mexico will develop and improve even more, it’s an excellent opportunity to jump one step more.

Money vs Justice

On March 17, 2009 Denisse Fimbres Oquita and Victor Quiroz Beltrones were killed by Fernando Noriega Soto at Bahia de Kino. Denisse and Victor were camping in the beach when Fernando, who was driving in an alcoholic state run over them.
It has been a year since the dead of Denisse and Victor but is still I tragic story that we will always remember and have present. It’s incredible how having power and money can make a difference when you are involved in a crime. When the accident happen every single evidence and witness was hidden. The families new about their sun’s and daughter’s dead almost 12 hours later. Imagine what they felt about. What would have felt if nobody tell you what had happen? Let me tell you that I was frustrating not knowing anything. When Victor’s brother, Carlos Quiroz, finally arrive to the police station, Fernando Noriega was already being asses by a lawyer. It was obviously that something was going wrong. Everything that happen was changed in order to make Fernando Noriega an innocent person. When the accident was published in the newspaper, the story was completely changed. What the newspaper said that Fernando’s car got stucked in the sand and when he finally was able to move he accidentally run over the tent where Denisse and Victor were sleeping. Bullshiit ! it was a total controversy. How can it be possible that just because you are rich and know important people you are able to make your son free of any fault?
The families of Denisse and Victor wanted to know the truth, they wanted the truth to be published, they wanted justice. It took like a month after the accident for the truth to come a light. Fernando Noriega went to jail for less than a year. Even though he is free from jail, I’m sure he is not free of culprit and he will have to live with that. i don’t wish him any bad but I hope the death of Denisse and Victor is not in vane. I hope that what happen help create conscious in Fernando and in other people who drive in an alcoholic state. I also hope that authorities take more serious their work. They are there to make justice not to accept extra money you know what I mean. And I also hope the same that Fimbres and Quiroz family hopes too: Thet this never happens again

Poland in shock

“This is the most tragic event in the history of Poland outside wartime,” Tusk said in a televised speech. “Such a dramatic event is unprecedented in the modern world.”

A few days ago the Polisn President Lech Kacynski and the central bank Governor Slawormir Skryzpek died when their plane crashed in Russia when they were coming from a commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the massacre made to Polish officers .All 96 people on board were killed.

The thing that proceeds in this case is so establish a temporary president for Poland and in two weeks call for elections. The problem here is that two candidates for president are dead along with the majority of the leaders of the opposition party.

I think it will be harder than politicians though to choose a new president for Poland.

I’ve seen in the newspapers that by know things will be like this: A deputy governor of the central bank will be temporary governing; and in April 12 there will be a meeting to discuss how things should proceed for the next elections.

People from Poland are in shock and we can prove it by the way they are acting. In front of the presidential palace thousands of people are lighting candles and praying. Churches around the whole country announced special services to pray for their deaths.

I think the peoples reaction is normal, I really wouldn’t know how to act if the president along with half of the gabinet. I would totally panick cause I wouldn’t know how things would be working nor what will happen to us.

Economic Crisis

economic crisis

homework

A single spark can make up a gigantic fire. This phrase can make people think and analyze it so that many ideas can come out. What can this phrase can seem and can be compared with the so mentioned crisis? What it represent? Well this phrase means that the big problem come out from a single thing. If we compare it with the crisis, the big error comes from a single error. This error makes up the crisis. The error can be divided also. The error comes from the so many people that asked for a lending. But this lending become continuously. Many people started to ask for money several times without thinking if they really needed or not. People sees very easy to buy things in such an easy way that they wanted to buy more. People spend the money they do not have. They ask for more money instead of thinking how to pay back what they asked before. Now imagine all the money that people are spending when they really do not have it.
In the other hand, the banks kind of think “it is a good idea to lend money to people, the more we lend, the more interests they will pay back , so lets lend them what they want, they will return us more, so we win. It is a good business.” The problem starts when they do not check if the people are able to pay back, if their economy is stable or not. Some banks ask for money to other banks to make their own business. The clear example was one of the UK bank (Northern Rock). With the money they received they make several businesses and of course they lend more to people.
The fire come out when one thing is not well functioning in the bank system. A snow ball effect come out and then it become a gigantic fire As we saw, the bank only stay with about 10% of the money people keep there. The other 90% is in a mixed process of lending money to people, lending money to other banks among others.
When the crisis is up high, we start blaming each other, when we do not see that we were part of the spark that made the crisis. To avoid this kind of problem, we need to be conscious about our finances, our economy, in other words we need to manage correctly our money and ask for money only when necessary. Banks should be conscious to who they are lending the money and how many they will lend. A good plan banks needed is to have an emergency plan in case of a crisis.
To avoid this we should need to be responsible of our own economy and ask for money when we really need it and always remembering that we will pay back more, so we can be careful when we ask for money to the bank.
The crisis is now going down and lets hope that with this “test” we can now be conscious to not repeat this one more time to avoid repeating the problem we are suffering.

The Army

those..........
As we know, the army is an important part of a country. The army serves as protection in case of an invasion. They also serve as helpers in case of natural disaster in the country. Some countries have inverted many of their money in constructing new weapons. Long time ago, the bigger your army the better you are. The same happens here but in less scale because the important things here are the new weaponry. The highest point in a used weapon was the atomic bomb in the Second World War. Now a days they are better weapons but just one of these ones can cause a disaster, that’s why the country will think it twice before using it. The army is important, but what will it be without a leader? Here are some of those leaders

Alexander Magno: conqueror of part of Asia, Egypt and Babylonia. He tried to fusion Greek and Persian civilizations, he died poisoned.

Escipion the African : he ended the domain of the Carthaginian in the Iberian peninsula. He defeated Anibal and ended the second Punic War.

Julius Cesar. He was general of the Roman Empire. For many was the best strategic man in history. He conquered Egypt and Galias. He was a dictator before he was assassinated.

Belisarius of Bizancio: he recovered many zones in Africa, Sicily and Italy during the Justinian’s kingdom.

Genghis Khan: founder f the Mongolian Empire. He was the leader of the Mongolian. He conquered the north of China, the central Asia, Afghanistan and Iran.

Gonzalo Fernandez de Cordoba: he was the creator of the professional army of Spain. He conquered Granada and the kingdom of Naples.

Napoleon Bonaparte: emperor of the French people, he conquered Italy, Prussia, Austria and the Iberian Peninsula. He was defeated in Russia and in the Waterloo War. He died in Santa Elena.

Erwin Rommel: he commanded part of the Nazi army winning several battles and he was in front in Normandy. He was arrested and obligated to suicide.
